Children’s Emotional Wellbeing

Introduction to EQ United

Parents everywhere want their children to grow up emotionally strong, resilient and confident — with the skills and support to navigate life’s challenges and build fulfilling, joy-filled lives.

Across every community, there are already people and organizations working to support children and families: nonprofits, educators, parents, businesses, funders, wellbeing professionals, volunteers and community leaders.

EQ United exists to bring that energy together.

EQ United is a community-powered initiative designed to connect people and organizations around a shared goal: strengthening children’s emotional wellbeing through emotional intelligence, family wellbeing and practical community action.

EQJOY provides the tools and support. Local communities bring the knowledge, people, partnerships and resources needed to create impact where they live.

How EQ United Works

1. EQNITE — Igniting Community Action
High-impact local gatherings that bring together people and organizations who care about children and families. EQNITE introduces the power of emotional intelligence and EQJOY, celebrates local contribution, creates connections and opens practical opportunities for involvement.

2. Local EQ United Action
EQNITE is the beginning, not the end. EQJOY works with interested local people and organizations to turn the relationships created through EQNITE into partnerships, fundraising, volunteer activity, program opportunities and other practical action for children and families.

3. Connecting Local Impact
As EQ United develops across communities, local activity becomes part of something larger — creating opportunities to share learning, celebrate impact, connect collaborators and strengthen a growing movement for children’s emotional wellbeing.
